| ![]() You're very welcome..I have the list on the refrigerator..just remember never give any aleve(1 aleve can kill a 15 lb dog), ibuprofen or tylenol, and if you have to use pepto bismol for any reason(The vet says stay away from that, use kaopectate instead) |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | ![]() What are you FEEDING? That could be the key to all the problems right there.

| ![]() Logan gets the itchies in the winter. I switched him to an oatmeal shampoo made by petsilk i think & that has helped. Also check your food & see if it has corn in it, a lot of dogs are allergic to corn & this can cause the itchies. If he is really focusing his itching on his ears he might have ear mites or an ear infection.

| ![]() I feed him Purina Pro Plan for puppies and I am working on switching it to the Pro Plan small breed dog this week. He has always eaten that brand since day one. The breeder started him out on it and told us to keep it so we did. I will look to see if it has corn in it though and I will stay away from it if it does.

My Little Man! Donating Member | ![]() It might be allergies, what you feed your dog or dry skin. Make sure when you wash your baby you have shampoo that includes oatmeal. My Maxi used to scratch himself because of dry skin and I switched to a different shampoo, and bought natural oils. Usually if its dry skin you could see some white flakes. Some dogs get allergic to certain food. I heard some cases with itching involved and when the food has been changed to a different one the itching stopped. When it comes to allergies I am not sure you probably would have to talk to your vet about it.

YT 3000 Club Member | ![]() Chester has had problems with itchin off and on, I started him on frizzly salmon oil on his wet and dry food that has helped. I have also used I think it is apple cider vinegar for the itches, I think look into that. I have chester bathed not real often and with hypoallergenic shampoo and rinse well. Corn, soy and wheat are the big food for itches. I run a flea comb through chester every nite. They can also get flea allergy dermatitis for a single flea bite. Good Luck |
