| That's so funny. I guess you better read the history behind yorkies to those little ones. You have spoiled them so much they forgot where they come from.....ha ha Good Luck, never heard of those plug ins.

| yeah, I have to say I agree. It seems there should be more humane ways than that. I used to have all sorts of rodents when I was a kid so they don't really scare me or creep me out, not that I want to find them running around my house either.... we had some in our shed and in the garage. The shed, I really don't mind. But I prefer they find somewhere else besides the garage. The problem in the garage was because we had removed an old rug in one of the bedrooms and put it on our trailer in the garage with the intention of taking it to the dump. But it sat in the garage for a few weeks at the beginning of winter so guess what? When my son and husband took the rug to the dump they said mice kept jumping out between the pieces of rug. Now that picture must make some squeemish... |

| We just had a mouse problem and we used traps that work on a teeter totter and spring. You bait it with Penut Butter. There is a spring under the teeter totter and when the mouse walk over it, the teeter totter springs back up and the mouse is trapped. We caught our mouse within 3 hours (didn't hurt her at all ) and hubby let her go in the woods 10 miles from our house. I leave one out on a reg basis now, just in case, and they are 100% safe for my child or my dog to come into contact with. I think he bought this trap at Home Depot or Lowes. HTH! |

My Little Man! Donating Member | Ha ha this is too funny! I guess we just spoil our furkids too much and they forget that its in their nature to catch vermins I think yorkies think they are humans thats why they are scared. My reaction would be the same. I wonder how my Maxi would react to that... I spoil him too much and he is a scary cat too I think its kind of a good thing they are scared so you dont have to worry about them having dead mouse in its mouth yuk.

| I am scared of them also but love snakes bats and do not mind spiders,my hubby cant figure that one out. I would set out traps at night when you are all in bed.Do you crate your babies ?or keep the door shut at night. Putting poison out only makes them stink to high heaven when they die in your walls heater vents etc... My doggies are not scared of them and are quite the little hunters, they all gang up together on rodents squirrels etc..I do have one that is very scared of them but she is scared of everything. They multiply fast and if they are ot being killed the whole group will move in!!Nice safe warm house. |

| Oh sorry for laughing but that's funny. I know how you feel. Our daughter had a mouse in the house when we were visiting and my babies were like "so" what do you want us to do. The mouse won that round. But my Samantha will catch birds outside. Go figure. LOL |

But really, I agree with no-glue-traps. There are all sorts of humane traps. They can't help that they'd like a nice warm house to live in too!

| HAHA Mine are the same way. We set the traps under the sink in the kitchen so they couldn't get caught in them and of course when the mouse was dead THEN they acted all brave and thought they were the ones who killed it |

| Have you ever seen the "mice cube"? It's a humane trap that lets the mice go in, but they can't go out. They are very much like the traps you use to catch raccoons and possums. We actually had three baby possums in our basement (uggh! you think mice are scary!!) and had to use a trap like this and it works like a charm and won't harm your dogs!
