| Need Some Help! :) My baby Shooter is abouttt 11 months old.. He is the sweetest little thing.. always wanting to be petted, and just a spoiled lil runt.. UNTIL we go outside.. then its Doberman trapped in a yorkie doggie lol.. i mean the first thing he does when he goes potty out front (granted we live on a very active military base were people are always outside) he just barks and barks and barks.. even if there isnt anything to bark AT! then if were walking he'll do the same thing.. Bark all the way over to the person.. get a foot in front of them and come streaming back to his momma, barking all the way back.. ugh.. i hate it.. cause he use to be so friendly to people.. is there anyway to help with this situation or is that a case of "small dog" syndrome lol! any help would be so appreciated.. thank you in advance! Lyn (& Shooter) |

| Hi I have the same problem. If someone walks up to our gate to talk to me, Teddy goes absolutely crazy. He barks and growls, and tries to push his way through the fence to get at them. He does this only if they have their dogs with them. Yesterday, i had to go to the pet shop, and took him in with me, where he came face to face with a golden retriever. I thought, this is going to be fun. To my amazement, he turned his head and started to shake. Not so brave this time. Maybe it has something to do with protecting his own turf? That is all I can think of. Janice |

| I take a can with change and shake it and they stop barking. Clappiing your hands and saying no bark works also for me
