				 | I just saw this thread (Thanks, Bettyeanne for bumping it for an update) I just had to laugh when you were talking about your DH's reaction (honey, we can't save them all) then he goes and turns to goo when he holds Pixie...this is exactly how my husband is. He puts on a tough front, but then he see's a pitiful baby and he's like, "awww, we have to try to help that poor dog!" It's very sweet. I'm so glad Pixie found you.

				 | i am just seeing this now also....what a CUTIE That baby is!!!! shes lucky to have "found" you! im just like you in the sence that i really should stop looking at the online ads...i want to save them all. We paid a lot more for dexter than we should have for a rescue, but when we got him he was 14 weeks and had already been at 3 different homes ...when i saw his face, i couldnt help but pay it to give him his final home! i was thinking of starting up a rescue before, but our stability isnt right to start now. i truely think it will be something i do once i "grow up" a little bit! |
