to Pixie's rescue. I am sure she has found her forever home.
What a doll she is. Your good people.
I will never understand why people neglect their pets.
Why get one if your not going to take care of it? Why?

You know I can understand the elderly people..they bit off more than they can chew and took VERY good care of Daisy..they were very sad to have to have her rehomed..

But there is no excuse with Pixie's situation..we find it out pleasure to help out doggys in need..

Bless your BIL OL heart, I have tears in my eyes....lets make her old owner a BED made out of a laundry basket and let her sleep in it for a night

Thanks hun...its easy to fall in love with the rescues too...for the first time my son was crying (hes 13) at the thought of letting Daisy go to a new home..she is super happy all the time. He really loves her. I know that one day he will follow in my footsteps and rescue too..but he might be like me and have a hard time giving them up lol..it breaks my heart to see him sad about Daisy. I think its because the yorkies love me and my boykin spaniel is attached to my hubby...and Daisy loves Colin...sooo much...he even lets her lick his lips..ewww lol

I would have lost my mind at that womans house! I don't have anything nice to say about that situation so I will just stop.
Pixie is such a lucky little girl, thanks to you and your hubby she will have a chance at life!
I shudder to think of what would have become of her if you had not stepped in.

Thats what I said to hubby last night...how much longer until she would have starved to death?? My feeling is that since they lived up that huge flight of stairs and she has two very young children she held off on feeding Pixie much so she didnt have to be bothered to take her out so often??? So sad..she has a tad bit of food aggression which is understandable but not tolerated in this house so she is learning to share...she also has toy aggression as I doubt she ever had a toy in her life...she loves to hoard all the toys and is quite obsessive over them..but Ive talked it over with her and told her this is a sharing house LOL..

Bless you all. I cant even imagine what this little pup has gone through in her short life. How sad.

Just think, not only has she abused that poor little dog, but she is teaching her children how to raise (and then dump) animals.

I am so happy for Pixie that you have come into her life. (Hope your hubby lets you keep her!)

You are that babies guardian angel thank god for you that baby may not have had much longer to live if it were not for you and Pixie is so adorable how could someone mistreat a sweet baby like that i will never understand

Thank you so much!! I dont know how anyone could mistreat her...its sad because alot of her mistreatment is starting to come out...its mostly food and toy aggression..which I can understand. I am trying to stop it and I dont let her get away with it..which is really hard as I dont want to hurt her feelings but I know its in her best interest and it will only get worse for the rest of my babies and for her so I will have to nip it in the bud.
