| Welcome to yt, I hope you are getting the help you need. I think 8 weeks is too young. I got my baby around 8 or 9 weeks old and she had a few issues due to being so young but that is not to say all do, some will never have issues. I do not think the pup will be a problem this is my first yorkie as well and it had been a great experience and I am now addicted to the breed, good luck with you decision.
