Oh (((((Patti))))) I am so, so sorry to hear this news, I had been thinkin and wondering how her visit with the vet went today. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time. Losing a furbaby is no less painful then losing a skin kid. Rest in peace dear sweet Dixie. My heart just breaks for you Patti.....

Patti, I am so sorry. I truly do understand what you are going through. You know I went through kidney failure with my Tiffany. It is so unfair that such a young baby suffered this tragedy, and that is truly what it is, a tragedy.

Tiffany is there at the Bridge, waiting to greet Dixie. And Dixie is no longer sick, but healthy and playing in the green grass, along with all the precious ones that have Crossed before her.

Oh NO!!! ... My heart literally dropped to my knees when I read this... I am sitting here in tears shaking my head in disbelief.... I am soo soo sorry Patti... I wish I could do something to fix this.... its sooo horrible but at least your baby is with the angels.... I remember when my Maddy died, I just sat there on the floor crying silent tears and thinking I had let her down... now 2 years later I know she is with the angels and I hope that she understood that I did everything in my power to help her.... it is the worst feeling in the world.. you feel so helpless and soo useless but just remember that Dixie knows that you love her and that you miss her.. cherish your memories and kiss your babies everynight.

Thank you all for the comforting words and touching pm's. Special Hugs to Connie for posting about Dixie for me and comforting me when I called her from the vets parking lot. Dixie was so sick. The specialist said he had never seen BUN levels so high and that's all he see's everyday. He had hoped we could buy her some more time lastweek, but within one week her levels had gone from 218 to 491. He kissed her good bye with me and stayed with me until she crossed over. I only had her a short while but her pawprints are forever on my heart. Pixie is wondering where she is she won't sit down and keeps going over to Dixie's crate that we put away in the corner.
You guys really are helping me through this horrible time and my heartfelt thanks for being there for me.

Tears are flowing and hearts are breaking...we did not know Dixie personally but she will be greatly missed. Patti, I am so sorry for your loss. Dixie is at peace now.

Ohh Patti.... we send lots of hugs.... your story scares me to the core .... Gizmo's BUN levels were at 55 last week so it scared me that he could get this sick.... I am soooo sooo sorry.... honest to god I really hoped and prayed to the dear lord our savior that your baby would get better.... it is a horrible site to see them in such pain .... but she is with the angels and my Maddy along with everyone ele's angels... may she rest in piece and may you find the strength to recover from this pain... I am truly sorry...

You were MEANT to be her Mommy and she is always going to be with you, loving you and helping you along your lifes path.

I am so sorry for your pain, but please know that you gave her everything she needed in lifetime, she'll be waiting for you in the next one

Oh Patti If I could reach though the computer screen and Give you a Hug I would be right there. I have lost a sweet fur friend before and the pain is still fresh even two years later. My heart goes out to you and your family at this time...
