| ![]() I let Pixie out for toilets earlier, it was dark and i could just about see her, I could see she digging at the ground so i called to her, she ignored me of course and carried on, so i put some shoes on to go and see what she was up to..as soon as i reached her she ran off and then thought it was a game! she eventually ran back in the house where the game of cat & mouse continued ![]()

| ![]() Could she have smelled where a squirrel dug out an acorn or something like that? ![]() Mine used to love to dig, dig, and dig! I'm not kidding, either, when I say she nearly destroyed her fenced-in yard with the little holes she left all over it the first summer I had her! But we lived through it and now, just occasionally, she'll dig a bit where it's bare around a plant. Get her a sandbox! Yorkies do love to dig! ![]()

| ![]() Max doesn't eat mud, but there's been a few times when I was picking up his poo that I wondered if he's not eating the sand here! I was thinking that maybe he ate sand b/c he was missing something in his diet (I can't even IMAGINE what, since he will eat ANYTHING), kind of like birds or cats will do, but this morning I noticed some poops on the side of the house that is only sand....and have feeling that some nocturnal neighborhood cat is using it as a litter box and Max thinks it's the cookie jar ![]() ![]() ![]()

| ![]() My boys don't (at least I think they don't), but I have seen other dogs at the park eat mud.

| ![]() We have a spot in the yard that grass just didn't grow, so we loosen the soil, put grass seed down and then added top soil. WELL, we might as well covered that seed with steak because our 4 month old would not stop eating whatever was in that soil so we had to fence it in and her out. We haven't a clue why she wanted that dirt so bad! |
