Max doesn't eat mud, but there's been a few times when I was picking up his poo that I wondered if he's not eating the sand here! I was thinking that maybe he ate sand b/c he was missing something in his diet (I can't even IMAGINE what, since he will eat ANYTHING), kind of like birds or cats will do, but this morning I noticed some poops on the side of the house that is only sand....and have feeling that some nocturnal neighborhood cat is using it as a litter box and Max thinks it's the cookie jar
. He does disappear over there every now and then, so I guess I'm on my way out to clean that up too
. I think the sand just happened to be attached to what he really wanted
