				 | I work at a day care: when parents come in to pick up their kids, and they are on the phone... do you not care what your child did here all day? lateness when im about to make a left (w/ no traffic light) and someone who thinks their time is more valuable than my own, has to go right next to me, block my view, AND have the nerve to honk at me when i go first!!! people who say mean things about my furbaby, or how i'm nuts for xyz (dressing her, doing her hair, etc) BO (do you not know you smell?) rudeness ill-mannered children (and i see this a lot) come on! you're the parent, why do you let your TODDLER walk all over you! grammar, i know i make mistakes sometimes too... but what ARE they teaching in schools? i've been in the states 7 years, i was born in Venezuela and went to school there, never had any formal Grammar classes or anything and some people that were born here, and have gone to school here forever, have worse grammar than me =/ ok, i guess i'm done lol i feel better

				 | Pet Peeves I'm a first time poster. I've been reading all the threads since joining several days ago. But this thread has got me going. My pet peeves are loud commercials, loud music during the tv show so that it's difficult to hear the conversation, and finally, newscasters talking over each other! I have many more, but those are the latest ones that are really getting to me, ha. BYW, I do not yet have a yorkie, but will be going Saturday to visit a breeder...keeping my fingers crossed. | I don't know if this happens anywhere else but for the past couple of years young women are following the car in front of them at a 4-way stop. So that means two cars are going through at the same time instead of taking turns. Did I explain that right? For some reason it just infuriates me and I lay on my horn to let them know it. Of course I get the finger a lot when I do that which infuriates me even more. I also hate the F word. It seems like you can't rent a decent movie anymore unless it is for children. I can take it once or twice but when every other word is F or F'ing it drives me nuts. I think men are becoming less sensitive to how they talk around women too. Again it is hard to walk in a mall without overhearing it. And last but not least I HATE BAGGY PANTS that people are wearing. Why would I want to see their underwear or their butts for that matter. |

				 | None. I let nothing bother me. I say "to each his own", and I am a very happy person.

				 | ok I have more... I have a problem when you go out to eat and the table next to you...(sometimes RIGHT next to you) has a young child or baby that is screaming and crying, or they are crawling around under the table and around your feet.... I always took my children out to the car at the first hint of bad behavior. We didn't come back till they were behaving. At my WEDDING some one brought their baby...(an uninvited guest) and while I was trying to say my vows... this baby was SCREAMING the entire time... this woman didn't leave!!! I was stammering through the vows trying to concentrate and this poor baby was screaming bloody murder...i kid you not.

Did you tell her off afterward or what? I would have had to be physically restrained so as not to end up in handcuffs!

| My furkids Donating Member | just thought of another one When you call someone (on the phone) and say "HI!...how ya doin?" and instead of them saying hi back they say "What's up!"...to me this sounds like they don't want to be bothered talking to you....

				 | Hi Brenda That is one of my pet peeves, also. And I feel the same way. Only wish I could think of a good answer back, such as "why, don't you want to talk to me?" Another one of mine is when you are talking to someone on the phone and they are eating something, or chewing gum, and you have to sit there and listen to them smacking and chomping on their food. Also, when someone phones, and expects a nice lengthy conversation, (hours) without even asking if you can spare the time. This is probably why I don't like to talk on the phone much. Janelles |

| YT 1000 Club Member | YT pet peeves: I have a big pet peeve... When someone says that they won't say anything because they will be rude when they do.... Why say that in the first place? Just don't post at all. Another one.. Those darn smileys..... I hate it when I see someone say something rude and put a smiley next to it as if they were trying to say something nice. And when someone call them out on the rude comment, they try to point out the smiley.... Another one... When you give your honest opinion, people start to get mad because your opinion doesn't agree with them... I have more but this is enough for now..... LOL... I'll be back though |
