Pet Peeves any one??? I just love to hear about others pet peeves... Here's some of mine When the seat is up on the toilet. When the dish washer is empty and there is a sink full of dirty dishes! (Doesn't happen often):thumbdown When people are really hurtful and out spoken and they think it's all ok be cause they are just being honest!!! When I'm out with my fur babies and people give disapproving looks... |
Bad grammar, especially when "your" and "you are" are used incorrectly. People who are LOUD (talk loud, laugh loud) in situations that are uncalled for. PJs in Public. There are probably 100 others that I can't think of right now. |
1. People who can't get a sentence out without the word "like" in it. 2. The expression "my bad". 3. Oblivions. People who are oblivious to anyone and anything near them. With that goes people who yack on their cell phones while standing in the middle of an isle at a grocery store, blocking traffic. That leads me to the last one. 4. People who yack on cell phones in restaurants, physician/dental waiting rooms, movie theatres, while paying for groceries, or at any other time that it is disturbing to others or rude. I'm done for now.:) |
In no specific order... 1. Men who rattle the change in their pockets. 2. Unruly or loud children. 3. Whistlers. 4. Bad table manners. 5. Gum chompers, gum snappers. There are probably more but I'm getting too tired to think... |
1) "smackers" whether that be chewing gum, or eating with their mouth open, or even those odd people who make random smacking noises with their mouth. 2) People who blow their nose loudly, or clear the drainage in their throat in public places, especially in a restaurant at the table behind me:mad: 3) The phrase "right on". Really what is that supposed to mean? The way it is said most of the time is also in this deadpan, no emotion way that let's you know in no uncertain terms that the person is just being patronizing. |

Only wish I hadn't heard it in a long time. I am not talking the right on of the '60's or "70's mind you. This is that "20 something" right on, where you say: "I saw a good movie last night." 20 something : "right on" Or, You say: "I have a splitting headache" 20 something : "right on" WHAT???? You can't even just pretend to act like you have the slightest intrest in what I am saying to you. God forbid someone talk about something that is not directly related to YOU. OK can you tell this is a big pet peeve for me. |

Closed-mindedness. Poor Manners. Especially in Children. Makes me so angry at the parents. Hypocrites. Punctuation, spelling & grammar used to be a really, really big deal to me...but then I got older, more tired & more sleep deprived & started having punctuation & spelling errors of my own. ;) People who mistreat the elderly (BIG one). Child Abusers. Animal Abusers. Spouse Abusers. You get the picture.... |
"Oblivions"...I like that word, and I can't stand them either. Rude, untrained children. People that abuse pets, children, spouses, etc. Men (or women, though it's rare, thank God) who clear their throat and spit disgusting blobs on the ground! And think it's no big deal! UGH!...Kill me. Drivers on cell phone who drive 40 mph in a 70 mph zone. Drivers who drive slow in the fast lane...and won't move over! On purpose! You can see them looking at you in their rear-view mirror!! When I finally can pass them, I give them my "DEATH" look. Geez, I need a xanax now! |

That's one things I can't stand is to see people in public in their PJ's... Toilet seat left up. People continually doing something after you have asked them to stop Baggy Pants. |

 Good grief dosen't anyone care how they look anymore? We had a "Asst Admin Director" show up in a PJ top with cowboy hat's on it. She was running late and didn't have enough time to change:confused: she stated. It blew me away! |
