|  Pudgy scoots every now and then and that is because he had a little bit of poo stuck to his butt...I'd check that first before you think it is more extreme

Maddie's only scooted her butt when she's had diarrhea and trying to get the yucky off herself! I had the vet express hers once and there was hardly anything there, so he figures she's one that won't be needing that done. A groomer once told me, if you notice a poop that seems to be incased in slime and mucous at the beginning of the poop, that they expressed the anal glands themselves. Ewwww!

| my sasha use to scoot her bum on the ground all the time, we use to call it moon walking lol. i took her to the vets and the vet found nothing wrong and said maybe she just likes doing it lol trust me to have a dog who enjoyed scratching her bum on my carpet lol
