| From Peanut (Kim) PLEASE BE CAREFUL! Kim just called me and asked that I relay the following information. She was at PetSmart in Knoxville. She made her pruchases and headed out to her car. She had her sweet precious little Lexie all decked out in her new Monkey Daze jumper. As Kim reachd her car, a man grabbed her shoulder and told her, "Give me the dog". Kim told the man "I don't think so", and kicked back. The man pushed her and tried to get Lexie. She hit her head against her car and then fell to the ground. About that time a lady who was crossing the parking lot saw what was happening and started screaming. The man ran off. The manager at PetSmart told her that the thug had been in PetSmart so maybe enough people id'd him and he will get caught. Kim has a pretty good bump on her head and her hands are all scratched up. And thanks to Kim's quick thinking Lexie is ok. She will be on later with her own comments, but let's all keep her in our prayers. She is quite shaken up! Of course our Kim wanted me to post this to remind everyone TO BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR BABIES OUT! She was in a "good" part of town, it was the middle of the day, there were lots of people around, and she came way to close to losing her dear Lexie! |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | OMG, i'm so sorry Kim! I can't believe that happened in the middle of the day at a Petsmart no less, with the possibility of so many other people and dogs there. I'm glad you fought back and still have Lexie! I hope that guy gets caught. Maybe petsmart has cameras and caught the guy on tape. i hope so...

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Thank god for that good citizen that screamed. It's utterly amazing to me how there has been such a rash of attempted or completed dog nappings lately.

| OH NO! That is so scary. Hope you're okay Kim...what a horrible thing to happen. Thank goodness he didn't get Lexie. You can't go anywhere these days without worrying about being threatened and hurt. Hugs and prayers, Karen
