My mother MADE US watch old black & white movies.. If you watch a lot of old black & white movies.. you can learn a lot.. back then people knew how to tell you off without cussing you out and it made you feel small.. a So I laughed at her butt and said let me get out of this store because..My mom taugt us lots of sayings... example... I know A closed mind is a good thing to lose The best way to have the last word is to apologize. SHE HATED THIS ONE cause WE USED IT A LOT...lol

But this is what I said as she walked away...God tries our faith so that we may try His faithfulness. and I just laughed.... Some lady said Amen and she laughed.. and carried her bird to the register..

I often wonder why people don't understand that these are our babies??? Would they let just anyone pick up, hold, or carry their children away??? I will never understand that.

I guess I've been lucky. I go a lot of places with Lacy and haven't had anyone be rude to me yet. The only really wierd exerience I had was someone at Petsmart asking about breeding her to their male. I do get a LOT of people that walk up to us and talk to her...and most people pet her without asking.

How in the WORLD did she have the you-know-whats to say that directly to your face just because you wouldn't let her wander off with your baby!!! OMG, unbelievable. A great comeback would have been nice but who knows what this lunatic would have done if you really got her angry. I had a kid punch his fist through my car window because he did not appreciate the witty little comebacks I was throwing his way.
I ended up with glass in my face and hand, the police and an ambulance were called. So not worth it in the end but he was such a rotten little punk I couldn't stop myself while it was happening.
It's better to just rise above it.
