Yikes! Sounds like your instincts were right on by not letting them too near your girl! I'm sure she never would have returned from her "just two aisle" visit. There really are some nut jobs out there! |
That is terrible, sorry people are so mean. I would have told her off. |
From her reaction to you saying no, I'm of the opinion that she was planning to just take your baby:( :p to her! |
That's why I always carry my pepper spray with me when I have one (or more :p) of my fur-babies...what a scary, rude woman! |
holy crap!!! ur good, i think my hand would have reflexively flew into her face! HAHA purposely on accident of course! |
I have to say, I NEVER take my boys out without a leash on them held by me, but I let anyone in the store pet them, and Ive NEVER had a person ask to hold my babies. They do get pet, to me that comes with the territory of having 2 adorable little faces! But noone better pick up my babies without my permission! Thats just assinine! I would never do that to someone, but I do reach down and pet a dog that is on a leash held by the owner who is sniffing my pant leg or something! I mean if you are going to let your dog touch me then by all rights I get to pet him or her! :) :) Im harmless as they come though! :) |
I didn't have a problem with her petting her. When she asked to hold her I even smiled and very nicely told her I don't like for other people to hold her because I worry too much - I laughed as I said this because I didn't want her to think I was being snotty. I told her she was more than welcome to pet her though. That's when she asked about taking her to show her husband and I just said, "No." I was a little shocked that she asked so this came out as just a flat "No." That's when she came back with her nice words for me and the Poopanut. |
OMG. that is really going too far. So lady go and get your husband and bring him here. People steel this guys all the time. Unbleivable. |
Damn, I dont take shi* like that from anyone! I would have been like " what did you call me?" I will give you a reason to call me that if you would like me to!!!" What a Biatch. Im telling you some of these stories you have amaze me. Ooooh my NY attitude would have GONE OFF in a heartbeat! ;) |
well I must stand up and say I'm a parnoid freak.......I don't take Brandi out if I'm alone.......unless I'm going right to my car.......and 90% of the time I carry her......she's become a "house dog" which is really so unfair to her......but I think there are too many nut cases out there......I'm considering getting a tough dog to protect Brandi when we go out...... |
OMG, She must have had bad intentions. Why else would she get so mad? I would have cussed her out. I don't take my dogs to stores. Fritzel and Kasey don't like people anyway and they would just be miserable. I hate taking them to the vet. I hold them the whole time. And I don't let people touch them or their dogs get near them. I am very overprotective too! |
People can be so hateful when it something they don't understand... Like the love someone can have for an animal.. A girl that use to work in my department right after i got Mi and i was bring the pics of her to show everyone at work had the NERVE!! To call her a MUTT!!! oh my god i like to come unglued!! I had to go sit in the office and calm my self... I told the girls in there.. If the B**** wanta to call my baby a dog so beit but i de d*** if she calls her a MUTT! Had to remeber i needed my job to feed my baby:mad: |
I would have gone off -l- Like seriously probably knocked the woman right on her rear. And added a few choice words of my own. Some people's children. |
That is horrible...I am now going to be MORE vigilent when people make a fuss over my furkids. I really get the feeling she would have run off with your little baby. And in a pet store too...must really have been planned....OMG:eek: . I am in shock just hearing it. Sorry you had such a bad day. Tina |
What a crazy lady!! their are allot of them out their it seems! I am sorry that she upset you like that. I once had a lady ask to hold my baby before while we were at a Fourth of July day at the city park. Mind you, he was premature by 3 months, and he was just home from spending 2 and 1/2 months in the NICU. I told her no and she was like "but he's so tiny, it's like he is not real"(he was 4lbs and 5 ounces at the time) she reached down:eek: into his stroller and thankfully I had strapped him in. My husband went off on her for me because I was so shaken up. Why she thought I would hand a stranger my child, preemie or not, was beyond me. |
