I agree. There seems to be a bias against small breeds. I have never had anyone call me a name but i had them call my dogs names

I think it is partly jealousy. Sometimes the easiest way those people find to express their emotions is through anger and hostility.

they are just jealous our furbabes are so perfect and beautiful! jealousy does strange things to people :rolleyes: ;)

I was at the mall once, and I had Cali in a carrier with me. This lady saw and was like.."Omg..I would NEVER have a PURSE DOG like that!!" Im thinking..that's probably a good thing, lady!

Sounds like she wanted to steal her. You never know with these wackos now a days. Doesn't sound right to me and I am glad you didn't let her near the baby. Never mind and don't feel badly.

OMG Seriously those people are just horrible! You did the right thing by not letting her get a hold of your baby. Those people make me sick if its just a dog for that lady how come she wanted to take her sooo bad. She got angry that she couldnt get what she wanted so she went and open her dirty mouth. They are all over the place! I was walking with Maxi and my boyfriend at the park one day and we saw this lady on the bike. The road is big enough to share with bikers, runners and walkers. So we were going on the right side and she was coming at us. Instead of going to the left side she was hoping we would move eventhou all the people walking next to us were going to the right. Eventually she moved to the left side and mumbble something on which my boyfriend said you are not alone in this park so learn how to share idiot. My boyfriend is a big guy and he looks scary lol so she just kept on biking not saying anything. There are just some people that cant enjoy their life because they are miserable and they have to put their negative energy on others. My suggestion not to take it close to your heart when you hear retards like that eventhough it is hard to do.

Ahh...it's probably the polite southern belle in you. Wish I was there to scare the hoe-bag. They don't call me a New Yorker for nothing though I'm an L.A. girl. No offense to New Yorkers (I'm not as nice as a New Yorker).... when you can be frank and assertive, people like to put labels on you.
