You are a better person than I am...if it would have been me SHE would have been the one leaving shaking. I never take my babies to petsmart or petco unless my husband is with me because of how often they get stolen (im only 5'1"), and hes crazy about the babies too so she would have had 2 of us to deal with. Some people are just so rude! |

 Well, I would like to say that I would've said something back to that woman and that I would have complained to the store manager. But I probably would've been more like you and ran out in shock! In fact, I probably would've started crying in my car (I'm a crybabay I know I know) Like a previous post said, she was probably up to no good and got mad because you were too smart for her:D |

I DID start crying in the car. I am still a little teary-eyed, and to think that she probably had intentions of STEALING my S'anah just makes me want to cry all over again. I just can't believe her NERVE! Oh, and believe me, now that I'm HOME I can think off kinds of snappy little comebacks for her, but at the time.... |
OMG! I would've said, excuse me, who the (beep) do you think you are, followed by a punch! I really can't believe how rude some people are. She was obviously pist you wouldn't let her hold Susanah, and didn't know how to handle her anger very well. |

Omgosh! Wow! I am just absolutely convinced that some people in this world have gone crazy - I am also convinced the majority of these people hang out at Petsmart. |
I wish I could OPEN a bank and let people withdraw "common sense" ..lol People dont think... and you never know WHAT a person can or will do so you HAVE to be in a Protective state 24/7... |
I always better at comebacks after the fact, too. AND I can cry pretty easily (((hugs))) |

UM not quite! I've never run into that! I see tons of people walking in with their pampered prince and princesses all the time. |
I am sorry that this happened to you...some people are just odd! Here's a story for ya...it didn't involve my dog, but I had something similar happen. When my daughter was a newborn, my mom was visiting from out of state so we took my then 6 week old baby to Babies R Us. I was carrying my baby instead of putting her in the stroller....I always wanted her closest to me. :) Anyway,I had these two VERY VERY scary looking women approach me. They both were EXTREMELY dirty and one acted like she was on something!!! She said that she was the mother-in-law and the other lady was her suppose to be her daughter-in-law....they looked like the exact same age. They both got right in my face and the one that acted like she was on something said, "That's a gorgeous baby...let me hold her!". Ummm, I was shocked so I politely said that she would cry...this lady went on to say,"That's ok,just give her to...I'm going to hold her!" As she is actually reaching for my baby!!! My mom then walked up and the ladies backed away and then said oh well, nevermind. EEK!!!!! You can just never be too careful nowadays. Sad but true. :thumbdown Tammy |
