As usual, ever since I've been at YT and Britt has posted about her photo contests, I've decided not to enter. I think there are always great entries to choose from each month. I withhold my entries because I wouldn't want anyone to ever say that I take photographs/portraits for a living and have an unfair advantage. Fact is . . . I see many people with absolutely awesome photos of their babies --- sharp as a tack on focusing, great depth of field, great subject interest, lack of objects to draw attention away from the subject, etc.

Each month, the task of selecting a winner has to be daunting. Whether by homecoming queen popularity contest votes or through a selection process, I think that Britt runs a fair contest. I think I actually prefer when winners are not selected by popularity contest -- but that is just my opinion.

I, for one, love Britt's site and think she has plenty to be proud of! Quality information on a quality site!

I thank her for sharing all of her information -- its there for the asking!!!

4. At the deadline specified each month a winner will be chosen by our impartial panel of judges.

I do not think anyone is being evasive. Fast Eddie has forum rules about this subject. I could post the addresses of a number of Yorkie forums, but that would be RUDE.

The prize is GREAT!!! Like I really need more bows??? I don't know how we're going to compete with all the cuties that have already entered though! We'll give it a try though! Hopefully I can come up with something!

wow i am a bit confused. where do you send the pics? is there an email address on there i missed or something? i'm sorry i've never been very good at this stuff...

Sorry Villette~ I didn't realize my post was confusing.....I simply was comparing Brittany's contest to Mary's Yorkie's contest because there was a question about how the entries were judged. If you have never seen Mary's Yorkie's website, you should check it out.It is very similar to Brittany's and gives lots of good info and she has a photo contest too. The address is

I just checked it out and there are several members who have entered that one too.

You would not believe! I had to take 15 shots to get 2. I actually have a better one I don't know why I didn't enter that one

I also love little mia's site. She's soooo pretty. Every time one of my friends comes over I log on and show them all the pics. Everyone loves Mia and Emmy! I think the contest is fun and super cute.

Loved your web page. It is really, really, neat. Must spend a while longer and really enjoy it. So Clever! Just entered Snoodles in her 4th of July dress. Hope I did it right.
How much does Mia weigh now? She is a tiny one, I know that. say, I think you must have Picasa2 from the web address. Do you know how to put pics from there onto the forum and resize them to do so? I can't figure it out, or if one can. I know how to resize for e-mail, but can't seem to get them on the forum from here. Any Help? Would really appreciate any knowledge you have!
