I had Toby with me once in a pet store last year and someone actually stopped me and said Toby was really cute and asked me if Toby could breed! I'd never been asked that question before when out with my yorkies. Like I was gonna pimp him out or something. These people are everywhere.

I had that happen to me once too. I was in Petsmart and this girl asked me if I would be interested in breeding her. I was like who just goes up to a stranger and asks that?? Actually, I had seen that girl and her yorkie before in the boutique I worked at (but she didn't recognize me)...I remembered her because she said she wanted to breed him to get her money back that she spent on him. And he was already like 4.5lbs at 12 weeks old so he was going to be over standard. But, yeah, couldn't believe someone would just ask a total stranger if they wanted to breed their dog

That's just sick! Talk about "genetics gone wild"!! Ewwww ... can't you just see all the boys standing around with their tongues hanging out waiting to pounce on the poor little girls?!? I don't even like another dog sniffing Toto's butt!!

That happens to us a lot at Petco and Petsmart. The last time, I actually asked what they were thinking (in a nice way). She told me she had been a breeder for 17 years!

I very nicely pointed out that if that was true, she should have noticed that while he's my baby and precious to me, and I think he's very handsome....a) he's 7.5 lbs. at 10 months b.)he's roach back c.)he's NEUTERED! lol!

Do some people think these stores are like singles bars or something?
