| What a horrible tragedy. I am so sorry for your loss. Please don't accept the contractor's story that he is not responsible. As you say, a child could have just as easily been killed and then you'd better believe he'd be in trouble. The loss of one of our pets is like losing a child. Contractors are required to be licensed by the state. File a complaint with the licensing agency and they will investigate what happened. It won't bring your furbaby back, but this contractor should be held responsible for his negligence. |
