| Bad doggie shampoo I had only given Chewy a couple of freshen ups with my herbal essences, but yesterday I decided to give Chewy a proper bath. Well, I went out and bought 4 Paws Magic Coat Puppy shampoo and Tangle removing rinse. I gave him a bath and a blow dry. Today i have been sitting here on the computer and he has been on my lap and I've noticed that he is a fuzzy mess and his hair is very rough. he looks like he has been outside for the past week! I spent $10 on this junk when I could have ordered a starter pack from cris systems for the same price. Buy the best first and stay away from junky stuff that will ruin your baby's coat. This stuff is going in the garbage. |

| I haven't ordered yet, I am about to do it. I think I am going to go with the gold on gold because it makes the gold parts of the yorkie much bolder. the rest of the stuff in the kit is the same as all the others. Just the shampoos are different. There are tons of YTers who use this stuff and by the looks of their coats, it's worth it. In the meantime, i am going to have to give Chewy a deep conditioning treatment. |

| I know what you mean the stuff I bought from petco doesn't help at all. They still have doggie smell after using it. I am ordering the CC system.

| If anyone is on the fence with this products, just look at Villette's and britt123's girls and you will be sold. You guys should get a percentage of their sales based on your walking advertisements, LOL |

| I use the CC day to day shamposs and conditoner as well as the ice on ice and I can see a huge difference...when I first got Maximus i was using the Hrtz oatmeal shampoo and it was leaving his hair feeling kind of dry..after the CC he feels so soft and smooth and smells good for days!!!

| My breeder used Pantene on her dogs and I use that and they look great and smell great too. I plan to try CC products but personally think it makes sense that any human shampoo would do fine, since yorkies are supposed to have hair as close to human hair as possible. I also use J&J no tears around their face. When I ever get a digital camera, I'll post them for you. |

| Update After this shampoo fiasco, I decided that since I couldn't get my hands on CC systems today, I just had to do something. I went down to Duane Reade and bought some "l'oreal kids Tangle Tamer for wet & dry hair" Pear scent. I sprayed it on Chewy and combed him out and by golly he looks MUCH better and feel softer too - good for the time being. I even bought some little barrettes for him BTW, I've heard that you shouldn't brush them dry - i would have to agree with this instruction of dog grooming. I've noticed today that there is a huge difference in the way hair looks if it is "moistened" first, just lightly. |
