| ![]() Extremely strange I will agree!! Something sounds really off to me...helping sell pups for breeders is what a broker is...so how does that not make her a broker?? I is confuzled!! |

Sorry I am not saying you don't do what you are saying, but it is questionable. Perhaps you could tell us a little more about it. To the OP, I am glad you have found a wonderful new addition to your family. I can't wait to see pictures!! I am sure your wife will be very happy!!

Luv my 7 Furkids Donating Member | ![]() Morkie - Thank you for your concern. I have confidence in Natalie and her pets and believe that Lexie will be a good mother if we decide to breed her. It looks like Natalie has been breeding these guys for years and offers puppies on a regular basis. I've heard that there have been a lot of negative comments about her puppies and prices, but I find it more revealing that not one person who has purchased any of her puppies has spoken up and complained about the dog they received. (Jeff's post) Jeff, I did post, I bought a male 3.5 yrs ago from Natalie. I had lots of problems. But..........in all fairness, even though I feel like I got conned, he was not Natalies, she sold him for JuLynn's Yorkies, but I knew nothing of that until I got his pedigree. I did not think it appropriate when we spoke to down talk Natalie. You never saw the post because it got pretty heated and most was deleted. You seem like a intelligent man, and a caring man and I hope all goes well for you. I just wanted you to know, thats why your post got heated up, it was carried over from a pretty large post that was removed, it had nothing to do with you really. |

| ![]() YAY! You'll get the puppy for your wife but I bet in no time that little bugger will be on your lap! My husband fell in love with my first girl and then my lap was empty...so of course we needed a second! Ha ha I don't think you've owned a yorkie before but they are the sweetest dog. I've had lots of pets in my lifetime(especially as a kid) and I will never own anything but a yorkie from now on, they have the best personality. You'll adore Lexi.

| ![]() I am sorry Deanna, but you know the old saying: "If it quacks and walks like a duck, it must be a DUCK ![]() ![]() If you "help" breeders sell their yorkies for a larger amount, then you would be consider a broker, now if you help them with no profit and you screen the homes for them, and just do it out of the goodness of your heart then I guess you are just a nice person...........So far it doesn't sound that way ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

| ![]() I have been following this thread with a lot of interest. As stated in my introductory post, I got Preston from a breeder rescue. The woman I got him from takes in the puppies and adult dogs from breeders that they can not, or will not sell. These puppies are not sold due to various reasons, as with Preston, he is larger than the breed standard. She then houses these dogs until she can find homes for them. I work at the local newspaper, and regularly see ads for yorkies for anywhere from $350-$1000. When I got Preston, I paid $100. This money went toward care and maitenance of the dogs. Preston was up to date on all shots and wormed. We have numerous no kill shelters who ask even more than $100 for mixed breed dogs. This woman is making no profit off of these dogs. She houses these dogs and cares for them until homes can be found. They play on her farm and in her house. There are several dogs on her property that she stated she will keep until they go to the rainbow bridge, as she feels that caring for them would be too much of a challenge for the normal person. With all of this said, THAT is what I consider a RESCUE. How can it be a rescue if one is making a profit? Just something to think about. |

| ![]() I just went back and read through this entire thread and I HAVE to ask: Is it just me, or has this whole situation and story not turned in to one of the most bizarre, ongoing events ever on YT? I guess on the positive side, it seems to have lured in a bunch of new members... ![]() ![]() ![]() I hope that when the dust settles, the outcome is a happy ending--> a new doggy sharing it's love with a loving set of owners. ![]() Last edited by BamaFan121s; 01-04-2008 at 06:44 AM. |
