As most things in life, it matters little what others think. We all have a right to our own ideas and opinions, and to feel foolish is to deny yourself the right for your own justification for what makes you happy. You don’t need to please anyone but yourself, and if others enjoy what you do, that’s great just don’t let it dictate and rob you of your pleasure.

I put lavender bows on Dennis and Sahara wears a dress and they both look adorable!!!!

You are ALL right. I will continue to enjoy dressing, taking pictures and treating her like my little furbaby that she is. I am not crazy and I am not doing anything harmful so I am NOT going to listen to others dumb opinions. I have to change because others wont. AMEN!

I wouldn't pay attention to those who critize the way how you love your dog! So what you put clothes on YOUR furbaby? What matters the most is how YOU feel. I love dressing Chloe up too and she loves being dressed by her mommy!:p (at least I THINK she does?) Join the crazy club :D


Oh for those who always take picture of your dressed furbaby, how do you make them sit still while you try to take a pic? Myfairlacy, I notice Lacy is always camera ready, how do you make her do that?! I am jealous!! I want to take more pic of Chloe, but I am having hard time....HELP!


Oh, a funny story to share, my neighour (they are like my family) used to think it is silly to dress Chloe up too..but I think they get used to it now...they even made a comment once when they didnt see Chloe with clothes on!! They were like.."omg, she is naked!! I am not used to that!!" :p

She is a princess
 
Nina is a little princess as most Yorkies are. They deserve to be dressed like a prince or princess. My Yorkie friends all dress for playdates with each other. It is ones own perogative. We have fun doing it and the dogs oops kids seem to know they are dressed for a playdate. Love Nina, she looks adorable in her outfit. If I ever learn how to post pictures I will post my babies. Lacy is just good girl most of the time when it comes to taking pictures. I usually get her posed and hold a little treat in my hand. I'll hold my hand up and she looks at wherever the treat is. I guess she's trained to look where the treat is. I usually take several pictures and then pick out the one I like the best. It usually take a few shots to get the perfect one.

Yesterday I gave Lacy a bath and she was naked for a while. My dad told me to put some clothes on...that it was embarassing seeing her naked :p

I absolutely agree. I am constantly defending myself for putting clothes on Tucker to my family members, co-workers, heck- even some rude guy at Petco the other day. Before I gotTucker I, myself, probably would have chuckled to see a dog in a coat but 1) We live in Massachusetts and it gets cold here for anyone let alone a 6-pound Yorkie and 2) He looks so cute! I think until someone loves a dog, they will never understand.

I totally empathize with you're feeling somewhat ridiculous but as others have said, maybe not in quite the same words, screw 'em! ;) They have no idea what they are missing out on!

I think people with big dogs or no dogs do not understand that these are out babies. They deserve to be spoiled and were cloths. My inlaws make fun of me and at first my husband was hesitant of putting clothes but he has warmed up to it and sometimes we get a good laugh ourselves when Carlos does not like what he is wearing and tries to get out of it.

I jsut ordered a bunch of t-shirts and dresses. I can't afford fancy clothes...yet. I plan to buy them for her birthday and holidays. I wanted to do that with Nikki (rest in peace) but she passed on so I will dress Nina!!
