| It's been a fun afternoon. We had much greater success with the pee pads today. Yeah!! We also had a USPS delivery. That was interesting. Once again I wanted three arms. I did manage somehow to accept the package, but it's all sort of a blur. LOL! It was our order of liver biscotti from Erin at Barkaholics. Lauren had approved another dry liver treat, so I figured these would be okay. We practiced the sit command for liver biscotti and everyone did really well. Tbone and Tina sat down immediately. It was obvious that they have had some training. Gizmo sat, but I had to say it a couple of times, and he had to back up a couple of steps first. I have no idea what's up with that, but I rewarded him for sitting. Gizmo is learning how to play more. He's figured out that if Tbone has a toy he wants, all he has to do is play with another one and Tbone will drop the first toy for the second one and Gizmo can snatch the first one. I'm constantly amazed at how smart these little guys are! There was another knock when my mom showed up and everyone went a little nuts again. Mom had to be kissed by everyone and there was general chaos! lol! Finally, everyone settled down. The only other incident was when my mom started to work on her cross stitch, and I saw Gizmo grab some of her yellow embroidery floss and take off! He then passed it off to Tbone. It was funny after we had retrieved it and the floss was fine (a little damp ) but fine. Tina and Tbone ate a good dinner, but Gizmo only had a bite or two. I guess a few missed meals isn't going to hurt him. He doesn't seem to be suffering. Lauren called earlier, and they aren't sure what the weather is going to do. If it snows like they think it might, then they might be delayed. Right now they plan to leave late tomorrow morning. I told them not to risk anything if the weather is bad. We can keep her furbabies another couple of days if necessary since we have plenty of their food. I took some more photos today. It's tough to get good photos of these guys when they're playing because they are always moving.

| We sure are! I just remembered a funny story! This morning when I woke up, John was snoring incredibly loud. I looked over at him as I sat up, just in time to watch Tbone. LOL! John let out a loud snore and Tbone put his paw over John's mouth and looked at me like, "Will he stop already?" LMAO!!

| Therapy Dog Donating Member | OMG Judy.....Gizmo, Tbone and Tina are so darn cute and they are getting a long so well for just being together a few days. Girl, what in the world are you going to do when Tbone and Tina go home? It will be sooooo quiet. Hmmm.....maybe you can talk John into getting you a little girl..lol. He'll miss Tina!! Yeah, that's your segway for sure.Love your updates and don't worry about Gizmo not eating....he'll get used to the new schedule. I have a hard time too feeding Izzy with 3 cats....I have to separate them when they eat or they will eat each other's food.

| Friday, Dec. 28th We woke up a little later than usual. It was around 9am. Mom was sneaking out! lol! She didn't want to get everyone all excited. Well, you can guess how that went. These yorkies hear everything. Luckily too since it reminded me that I needed to take the trashcans around front. I think she felt guilty because she woke up for a 3am ice cream snack and everyone woke up and got excited. You really should have seen the look on her face when we all came barreling out of our bedroom. It was priceless! They actually settled down very quickly and we all went back to sleep. We didn't wake up again until Mom left. Once again it was so much fun to wake up with a bed full of yorkies. tiny Tina has finally mastered the steps up to the bed! Yeah! I found myself getting a little sad thinking that this was probably the last night they will be here.

Gizmo has learned so much from being around them. He has pleased and amazed me. John will miss them all as well, especially little Tina. He is so protective of her. Gizmo just doesn't like being separated from the others. I think that's the main reason he won't eat. Tbone will try to eat Gizmo's food though, and we can't let him. Gizmo is doing fine though, so I'm not worried. He eats a bite or two here and there, so I think he's getting enough. I am a little worried about his ear infection though. His left ear seems really red and by now it should be much better. I think I'm going to run him to the vet later today for an ear check. Hugs to you and Izzy!

| Sounds like everything is going well! I hope Gizzy's ear is going to be ok! We are getting close to the ks/ok border now. The first hour of our trip was messy but not dangerous, and now it is much clearer and we've had a chance to clear off the windshield. We were really sad to leave the rest of our family, but look forward to being with the pups again. I am SURE they will be missing you and Gizzy too! They love to have friends to play with! It is always sad when we have to go back to the normal routine after such a good holiday. But I will tell you one thing, I'm ready to get back to some TX weather! Judy, you have done such an awesome job, this thread has been great, and I can't thank you enough for all of your help. We would have had to pay over $200 bucks to board the pups, and they would have been so mad at us. Looking forward to seeing everyone later today!

| Hi Lauren! The pups will be thrilled to see you! My plan right now is to wear them out this afternoon so they will sleep on the trip from Waco to Austin. The weather is much nicer today, so maybe we will go outside for awhile as well.Gizmo's ear looks okay, I think it was just the light. When I looked at it later, it was fine. Hugs!

| Great thread.... This is exactly how I ended up getting Lottie. I looked after my friends yorkie for 2 weeks , and at the end of it all I felt so sorry when Alfie was back being the only one I went out and got Lottie.... They have all had so much fun together, bet your husband will be a pushover when it comes to asking for a sibling for Gizmo I am always amazed at how they all get along together, we have looked after a few different yorkies and both Alfie and Lottie have done really well.Sounds as if Gizmo, T-bone and Tina have all had a great time.

| Lauren, if you are checking this thread on your phone, I sent you a pm. Please call John's phone today instead of mine. I sent mine with Chris today since his is being repaired. We're waiting and hoping the weather warms up a little more so we can go outside for awhile.
