What is your dogs name? Caden (his legal name is Prince Caden)

How long did it take to Toilet train your dog? about two weeks (he still had some accidents though)

How long did it take to Train your dog the basics? well, he only knows sit, come and down. it didnt take him long at all. I dont try to put too much pressure on him becuase he's only about 7 months old.

Does your dog know any tricks? sit and come. just being consistent and rewarding him when he does it.

How long did it take to get your dog used to being brushed? About two months (he's very stubborn) . and i dont usually brush him hwen he's awake. when i brush him, he's either tired, or taking a nap.

How long did it take to train your dog to walk on the lead? approximately 5 walks to get used to it. still quite stubborn, though. however, its nothing too hard to deal with

How long did it take to stop your dog from biting? about 3 weeks he calmed down a bit.

Where does your dog sleep, bed or cage? my bed :] . i tried putting him in a crate, but he just cried and cried and cried. i cant deal with that =/

Do you groom the dog yourself or take it to a Groomers? my mommy grooms him fully once a month, but we both trim him once a week together.

How long does the hair take to grow, long time or short time? depends on the dog. most yorkies have fast growing hair. Caden's grows quite quickly.

How often do you feed your dog per day? 3 wet food meals a day, and dry food out all day long.

What food do you feed your dog? i have him on Blue Buffalo 'Puppy'

What is your dogs favourite treats? beggin' strips, and anything chicken, beef, or bacon flavored :]

What is your dogs favourite toys? ropes, and his 362007536 squeeky toys

(he's so spoiled)

Does your dog need a coat to wear when outdoors walking? on cold fall days and winter days, yes.

How often and how long do you walk your dog? i walk him once a week. in the summer, the walks were about 15 minutes, in the winter, about 10 .

Any other advice? stay here on YT ! i've learned soooo much just being here for less than a year . i'm only 13 and an owner of a yorkie, so i need all the help i can get

(Sit, Down, Stay, Come etc) They all know the basics but as I started as soon as I got each one...I'm not sure the time it took. It just sort of took hold. I would say start training these as early as possible and be patient.

Does your dog know any tricks?
(What are they and how did you teach them) The only trick they know is how to be cute.

How long did it take to get your dog used to being brushed? We started right from the moment they arrived and all had been used to being stroked (mimicing a brush) so they were used to it right away.

How long did it take to train your dog to walk on the lead? Probably 2-3 times trying to go for a walk before it sunk in. (PLEASE BE SURE TO USE A HARNESS...NEVER A COLLAR)

How long did it take to stop your dog from biting? Biting was not allowed. The minute there is a bite, playtime was done. I think it might have taken 2-3 times to sink in.

Where does your dog sleep, bed or cage? All three sleep in bed with us.

Do you groom the dog yourself or take it to a Groomers? I groom mine myself. I love the bonding time it provides.

How long does the hair take to grow, long time or short time? Samira and 1 of the Parises coats grow quickly. The other is a glass coat and it always is the same length without any cutting so I'm not really sure.

How often do you feed your dog per day? twice a day. 7 am and 6 pm and then a little treat now and then.

What food do you feed your dog? Paris needs to eat Waltham Urinary S/O so they all eat that. It wasn't my first choice. They used to eat Wysong.

What is your dogs favourite treats? Anything that comes from my hand. Lot's of time, I use kibble as a treat.

What is your dogs favourite toys? Giant Booda Hedgehog and Hide-a-Squirrel.

Does your dog need a coat to wear when outdoors walking? In the winter they do wear coats. It's cold in Michigan.

Be patient. It's far to easy to break their spirit with a loud voice. These are wonderful little companions when met with the correct energy.

How long did it take to Toilet train your dog? Maggie took about 2 months for total training and she goes on pee pds and outside but she had a refresher course after she had her pups, Leo and Dante they are totally trained and have been sonce they were 12 weeks, they are 5 months now

Not long at all for Maggie the boys we are still working on. They begin their training in January. they just got neutered so training is on hold.

What food do you feed your dog? Natural balance food roll in the AM and the organic dry kibble.

What is your dogs favourite treats? Bully sticks or the natural balance treat roll.

What is your dogs favourite toys? anything with squeekers in them and the hard plastic toys they like to chew.

(Proper dog coat, not just for fashion) Yes definitely in the fall and winter. I make fleece hoodies for them so they are warm and stylish on our walks.

How often and how long do you walk your dog? I usually let them run laps in the back yard since it is pretty big but my new year resolution is to take them fro walks at least once a week.

Any other advice? Like everyone has already said about the shots and the collars. I want to add also that you should puppy proof your home. Get on your hands and knees and go around the house. Anything within your sight move if it's chewable. Buy some bitter apple spray and spray anything that is ground and puppy level.
