| Vets @ Yorkie Talk???? The Vet Clinic that I go to is very large and they have so many Vets. I have mentioned things that I have learned on Yorkie Talk and they have never heard of it and are amazed at the information that I have. Think I will make a poster, "Yorkie owners, go to www.YorkieTalk.com asap" and post it.

| I love going to my Vet. We always share new information and he loves helping me learn as much as he can teach in a visit. I wish I had went on to graduate, but only got two years of animal science. However I have not stopped learning all I can. |

| You can learn some things from the vets, but they can also learn some things from you. Experience is the best teacher and no one knows your yorkie as well as you do.

I just mentioned to my Vet about Yorkie Talk and she had not heard of it. It is not sad for me and my Vet does not bite.

| I'm sorry I confused you. When I said that it is sad that some people haven't found a vet that they really like yet, I wasn't talking about you. That was in response to Journey826's post. You said, "I have mentioned things that I have learned on Yorkie Talk and they have never heard of it and are amazed at the information that I have." I was just wondering what kinds of things you have learned on YorkieTalk about dogs that your vets don't already know. I always like to know what vets do not learn in vet school. That's all.

That is if you can even understand them. I got sent to a vet due to an emergency (after hours) and the vet didn't even speak clear english and they were so over priced it was rediculous. I wasn't going to learn anything from him or vice versa! I wasn't happy. | |
