| Coloring Question Everytime I go to the Sassypup website I see the adorable little girl below. When I get a little girl, I would LOVE to get one that looked JUST like her. But I don't know what her coloring is called, she looks more like chesnut than gold. Does anyone know of a breeder with Yorkies that have her coloring? Does anyone have a puppy with her markings? If so I would love to see pictures. Thanks!

| It's really hard to see her entire body the picture is so small. She certainly is adorable. However, if she is that color all over she could be a brown yorkie, brown nose also meaning there is a pigmentation problem. They are not breed this way it just happens. They are healthy just like the tan and black yorkies. Not at all like the blue borns. I love that coloring, however, if she is a brown yorkie she should not be breed. She is beautiful. I am sure other's will have more info on the subject. Is her back black or is she brown all over? |

| She looks like a black and tan to me. If she is still a puppy, that would be ok. If she is older, she should be starting to "break" blue down her back. But we cant see her back and dont know how old she is. |

| Hi there I see that pup all the time...and yes she is a cutie However, it looks to me like she still a pup and of course that is the coloring of most yorkie pups. Mostly all of them, look like that at that age.... When Yorkies are older they tend to change colors from the black/tan

| I think she might just be a "darkie." There are several people with darker yorkies..I actually think there was also a thread about it once before.. it's hard to tell if puppies will stay dark without looking back at their parents/grandparents. She is definitely a cutie!

| That little girls name is Bella LaRue. She belongs to a lady named Valentina in California - she has Little Paris Noel who models for a lot of the clothing companies. Bella was her second yorkie, and they just bought a new one named Madeline Monet. They are all adorable and Valentina seems like such a nice lady. She has a website and a myspace. www.littleparisnoel.com You can probably e-mail Valentina and ask who Bella's breeder is. She may give you the info.

| Thanks to everyone for replying! I have found out who Ms. Bella's breeder is and have inquired about her breeding program.

| Not gonna share who the breeder is? I know Yorkiecity1.com has darker yorkies but their ears are larger.

| it can take up to two years for them to get their full color so it would be difficult to say what coloring your baby would be. even if you got the darkest yorkie out there, their color can break out in 8months to two years.

Therapy Dog Donating Member | Same here with Izzy....I had her outside with us this past Halloween and all the girls in the neighborhood asked me if I "highlighted" her hair...lol. Izzy has that copper/blonde streak going on with her head and it's funny...only the back of her head and back of her ears are that gold/redish color. I wish my hair was like that naturally.
