| I can't give you any advice really. Just to tell you that you should have named your baby Tigger.. For his jumping abilities.

| I would get a crate with a top on it. My 3 pound girl is a jumper also. She hasn't tried to jump over the babygates yet though.

| You need a crate with a top on it. All my yorkies can jump over babygate. Here is a video of a prime example of one of my yorkie climbing over the babygate at the tender age of 6 weeks www.geocities.com/tinybittosalt/MVC-004V.MPG |

| Oh my gosh that was the cutest video ever!! Coco hasn't tried it yet, but she is a jumper and she will figure it out soon. I hope not but I have to think realistically. But I always close my room door. So if she does get out, she's not running like a banchi. She's only 2 lbs though, I doubt she can climb over.

| So what other than a cage... Quote:
I have two Shelties and an Eskie (good agility dogs too, right!) that all I have to do is prop a gate against the door and they don't even question it. Tiny little Dublin, on the other hand, hasn't met the hurdle that he can't climb! It's scary the way that he flips over them. My husband even went and bought the plastic lattice (from Home Depot) and cut it to fit the door openings without actual doors. The first batch had holes too big and he squirmed right through them. Then he got the lattice with the really small holes which apparently are just the right size for Dublin to to use as footholds for climbing over! I'm afraid to go too tall with the lattice thinking that he will just have farther to drop!! Oy!! Whats a mom to do!! Seems there is more spunk in his little butt than all three of my others combined!!

| THat's it then! You have to get Luda into agility. Come with me this week end to the "Wags for Wishes" Charity dog show in Del Mar. I worked there last year for my charity group and I am going to be working there again this weekend. This time I am going to pay more attention to the trainers and the agility clubs in our area. As for keeping him out of areas you don't want him in, it sounds like your bf needs to come up with something safe to make it impossible for him to get over. Maybe a "T bar" across the top of some sort or an Xpen with a top to give more room than a crate. Yorkiagility~ Loved the video! |

| yes, in all seriousness, get a crate - or for more room an exercise pen and get a cover for it. They make really nice ex-pen covers you can even get monagramed! My friends have Pappys - so thiers have butterflys on them! Eight Pappys can bounce and have fun in the pen and none of them get out even though they are all obedience, flyball and agility dogs. . . or you could just send your dog to me . . .lol. |

| A friend has 2 Yorkies and one is a jumper/climber. She uses an X pen and separated another the same size into 2 pieces She uses them as covers if the X pen. I have not explained that very well but it does work. She had to buy extra clips to hold the top on.. |
