| question about shoes Just wondering. Do you guys put shoes on your yorkies in bad weather? We have snow and slush here in nyc and Paddy's poor feet get frozen on a short little walk. I want him to get exercise no matter what the weather but I think he would NOT enjoy wearing shoes. I seemsl like its not very natural for a dog to wear shoes so I wonder if it is good for them or just too stressful. Should I get them or just not walk him when its gross out? There is also the issue that people look at me like I'm silly enough putting coats on him (which I find REALLY annoying..like hellooo....he's COLD people! ). so I'd feel even sillier walking him with shoes on but don't worry thats definitely not what is stopping me from getting him some. If he needs them to be warm he's getting them lol. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | you can try to put shoes on him. first put them on in the house and play with him or give him treats while they are on so he gets used to them. some dogs just don't like them (like mine) and refuse to adapt no matter what. i would just walk him with his coat on and then when you get home wash and blow dry his feet. this is what i do with mine now when she goes outside in the rain or snow.
