| I think it depends on the kids involved. MY son is 16 months old and he is the most gentle child with pets. We're staying with my mom right until I start school, and they have 3 dogs and a cat, and we have Chuy. ALL of the babies love Donovan, and he returns the sentiment. Donovan will walk up to the babies and love them, wrapping his little arms around them while saying AWWWW. They all sit there while he loves on them. My niece, on the other hand, terrorizes the babies, so they hide from her. She's 4, and she's killed one cat, and has had 2 puppies run away. It's really sad. Every time they come over, Chuy goes to our room and hides until they leave. Mya's mom isn't on the bright side, and every time something happens to a pet, she goes out and finds another one. Knucklehead!

| I have a 4 year old son and a 1 year old. Bikini is now 6 months and a half and I had her at 11 weeks. Everyone get along well... Is they are young and raise around kids it helps... But it is all about the parents attitude. I always supervise. My 4 year old loves her so much that sometimes is gives her too much hugs! But I am always around. My one year old is more gentle but loves to feed her with her food. It is really cute. I think yorkie's a great with kids under supervision. The breed is amazing Good luck!

Donating YT 11K Club Member | Teddy and London love kids, babies, everyone. But Sophie doesn't seem to like kids too much. IDK what is it, i got her when she was 6 mos old so maybe she had an experience before that with them that wasn't good Anyway when i walk her and kids try to pet her i always tell them not to or i pick her up cause she will run away from them and make circles around me and get me trapped in her leash lol, now she is getting a little better with them cause my bf's 6 yo neice plays with her gently so that is helping. But other kids no. Some women in my neighborhood asked me if a yorkie would be a good dog to get her 2 yo daughter, i was like uhh no! Why would you do that?? Well i told her the reason why, but her husband was set on buying her a yorkie cause they're little
