| Same Question but clearer? Ok I know I have posted this same subject but still not sure of the answer so here is the questions . Should I start having Rudy start sleeping in crate all nite? He has been sleeping in porta crib for past 2 weeks but wondering if it would be better to start this transition now.. I would still have him in porta crib during day for a while until he is older but wondering about the NITE time ... thanks hope this is clearer..

| If you want him to get used the crate, then I would crate him. You may need to get up during the night to take him out, but that doesn't last too long. I've used the crate with all my dogs and I am really glad I have. They also have 2 x-pens and dog porta crib too and I use all of them. I don't use the porta crib much cause the tend to chew it and jump out. Hope this helps. |

| It's best to get them use to the crate while their young. They seem to find it a safe secure place to be.

| I always used the crate right off the bat. They love their little safe havens and it's nice when traveling to have a place to keep them safe and secure when visiting elsewhere. Not to mention when we are evacuating from a hurricane!
