My thoughts exactly. Blossom is very young to have left her mother. Any immunity she may still have had from nursing is often destroyed by the first vaccinations. She may be completely unprotected from deadly puppy diseases. It's not safe to let her in places that other dogs have been like grooming salons, dog parks, pet stores, and common areas where other dogs are walked. She will have to finish her full round of shots plus two weeks for full immunity, usually around 4&1/2 months.

Another consideration is that at only nine weeks, Blossom is right in the middle of the Fear Imprint Stage which is between 8-11 weeks old. You don't want to frighten her in any way as any traumatic, frightening or painful experience
will have a more lasting effect on her than
if it occurred at any other time in her life.

Thank You! She is a very cute girl . I realize she is young, I think thats one reason Im so nervous. Im still on the fence on what to do, she deserves to be happy and have lots of attention. My heart is breaking for her she is so small. I took her to the vet to weigh her today she was 1.9 and half oz.

Do you have a friend that stays home and could puppy sit for you or maybe a doggy daycare? Just a thought.

Blossom was returned to the breeder. Dixie Chick did what she thought was best for her. She well may be in another home by now.

A lot of yorkie owners have to work. Just make sure she has lots of toys to play with, and when you are home take the time to play with her. Once she gets her shots you can take her out to socialize her.

she returned her to to her Breeder........... don't you even read posts at all????
