| A lot of the "designer" mixes I have seen for sale online are as expensive, if not more, sometimes that purebreds. |

| I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with this statement...Just the fact that they are mixed does not make them have less problems. If you put two dogs together regardless of breed that carry a gene for a disease, those dogs can produce offspring with that disease. JMO

| morkies are adorable that is what i started out to get but fell in love with the yorkies. i would ask as many health questions as you can and call the owners vet. post pics if you get one

| You can never be 100% sure you're getting a Morkie unless you either bred the dogs yourself or were there to whitness the conception. There is no 'standard' for a Morkie...no uniform markings, coat condition or size...you can get one that looks more like a Yorkie or one that looks like an off colored maltese or just a cute little mixed breed puppy...it's a gamble. Rather than buy from a breeder who is making money off of the designer dog craze why don't you check with some of the shelters and rescue groups? They are full of mixed breeds...or...designer dogs that are longing for a loving home. |
