| Please pass my condolences on to Christy for her loss. My heart goes out to her. I agree with the cremation idea.

| I would say have him cremated. To give you and idea of what to expect, we've just lost 2 dogs in the last month and had them both cremated. We left their remains at the vets and called the crematorium. They come and get the remains and deliver the ashes in an (plain) urn in 4-7 days. We are in a large city (Montreal) so hopefully the prices will be comparable. For a 65lb dog it was $270 and a 35lb dog $220. I would expect it to be less for a tiny yorkie. All I had to do was call the crematorium and they dealt with the rest and delivered the ashes to my door. If she doesn't have a way of dropping of the remains at the vet's, tell her to call local crematoriums, they would probably pick up from her house. Please offer my deepest condolences to your friend, I know exactly what she's going through. |

| My thoughts and prayers are also going out to your friend..tell your friend to have him cremated. I have some urn's from my first family of yorkies, I made up a small memorial corner in my home. I always know where they are this way. Maybe one day I will find a special place for them. |

Donating YT 11K Club Member | Hey guys I was just at her house this whole time. Me and my bf were down there talking to them and trying to make her feel better. She is really upset. She feels like it is all her fault, i told her it's not at all. If anyone wants to send their condolences just PM me. I told her she can get his body cremated at the vet but there are no vets open now so she called information and they told her what to do. Her bf is in shock also. The sight of his toys on the floor just made her sad so we put them away. She said he was acting normal before today, when she got home today was when she noticed him acting weird. He was disoriented and bit her. He never bit before so it wasn't like him. He was also wobbly. I am scared if it was liver shunt cause he and London have the same dad, but there are others that have puppies from there with the same dad and they are fine. She acts normal and has a lot of energy but I am going to get her tested anyway to be safe. Please pray that she is okay and doesn't have it. I will also test Sophia too just in case. My mom brought up a good point that maybe he was bit by a mouse. Do you guys think he could have died from that? The breeder said he had his rabies shot so she didn't take him to get that, maybe he got rabies? Idk it could have been anything. Here is the thread she posted earlier today. Thank you guys for all your suggestions and condolences. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=105778

Donating YT 11K Club Member | He was only acting sick today and then he died almost right away. I wasn't there but when i spoke to her she told me he died 20 before. There was one time he wouldn't get up when she got home and was wobbly but she thinks that's cause his blood sugar was low, cause when she gave him nutrical that day and when he ate he was better.
