| Lilly's new play place (not a very good one)! A long story but you won't regret reading one bit. Lilly has been extremely obnoxious this whole week when it comes to bedtime and I'm not sure why. Anyway, around 4 or 5 in the morning she's scratching on her crate wanting out and won't quit no matter how long I ignore her so I just shut the bedroom door and make sure (or I thought I was) there isn't anything she can get into. She has this thing where she likes to run underneath the bed and my boyfriend hangs over the edge and she runs out and "attacks" him so whenever either one of us go into the bedroom for ANYTHING she automatically runs underneath there and waits or even stays underneath it while we're laying in the bed. So, when I let her out around 4 or 5 she does her business on her potty pad then goes under there and stays. Last night, we noticed parts of the white stuff that they cover the underneath of box springs with laying on the floor and I made the comment we needed to get something to put around the bottom of the bed so she couldn't get under it before she tore it to shreds and didn't really think anything else of it. Well , this morning I let her out and a few minutes later woke back up to check on her and she was nowhere to be seen but I kept hearing her so I (for some reason) put my hand on the edge of the box spring and I FELT HER NOSE SNIFFING MY HAND THROUGH THE SIDE LINING... I thought WHAT IN THE WORLD. I immediately woke my boyfriend up and as soon as he moved (she loves him!) she ran to his side of the bed STILL INSIDE OF THE BOX SPRING. I had to get up, go in the living room and get a squeaky toy JUST to get her out and put her back in her crate and put her in the living room. We were sitting here watching TV and I heard her make a noise so we went to look for her and hmm, guess where she was?! Yep, again and I had to lure her out with a toy... needless to say the bedroom door is STAYING shut and she's STAYING in the living room in her crate at bedtime until we get something to put around the edge of the bed. I had him look under to see how big the hole was and he said it's a HUGE slit. What in the world am I going to do with this cute furry mess named Lilly that I have on my hands!

| Lilly's quite a pro at being a little toot. Anything and everything she knows she isn't supposed to do she does it and looks at us both with the cutest look on her face. I think she secretly knows she gets the best of us and she won't get in trouble.

| My Xena chewed up the bottom of the boxspring too before we put suitcases and storage containers under the bed so she couldn't go under there. I swear if it's something they shouldn't be doing that's what they want to do! On a side note I'd be careful. A friend of mine's cat got stuck in the boxspring and ended up breaking his little leg.

| They sure can be little buggers!!! For a quick fix, what if you took a fitted matress pad and put it on upside down and than put a baby pin in each corner so it won't slip down? Just a thought. |

| Oh My Gosh that just reminded me of when Simon was a puppy and we were at my mom's house. We couldn't find him anywhere and were totally panicked. Turns out the little rascal was stuck in the box spring under the bed. He was having a great time playing and running around in there Sneaky little things aren't they? |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | My pom did that when we first got her. She would sleep in the lining until one day as she got bigger she ripped thru it. SO my husband tore it all off she was so upset!!! So then when I got Cali she would chew on the exposed wood frame. I went to Koh;s and found a box spring cover that is made out of sheet material and fullyencloses the box spring. It has a zipper on one end. I think it was 50.00 on sale but well worth it. They are such stinkers
