I love it when I see my husband kissing Coby when he thinks no one is looking. It's funny because our older Reggie (shih tzu) is 10 years old, and he likes him just fine. But Coby has stolen his heart.

My Hubby has turned into a soft pile of gooey mush. At night, when he's conked out on the couch watching TV, he has to have Mango snoozing in the crook of his arm. I'm banished to another chair in case I disturb his little darling's nap. He went away last week to a family function and asked me for pictures of her to load onto his iPod. When I spoke to the cousins, they told me he was showing Mango's pictures to everybody...and they were like.... "Erm...... what about the rest of the family?" Ha! Ha! Too friggin' cute!

Hubby is all mush when it comes to Bentley,He has to walk Bentley, he has to carry Bentley in the stores .he carries his photo in his wallet!! and now he has a personalized license plate on HIS car that says--- MYORKIE --- My big guy all mush over a little dog, never thought it would happen,now we have MYORKIE on HIS car!!

My husband is a retired NY City Police Officer / Big Tough Guy. He wanted a man's dog - not a little f*g dog as he called them. Well, ask me whose lap they all sit on. Yes, you got it. The big tough cop. He loves them all, especially his little Tia who he says does nothing wrong. LOL. And, a few months back when we lost our ten year old Yorkie (our first yorkie) to cancer he cried the hardest. Elaine

Mine likes Bikini but still always say its just a dog. He plays a bit with her and keep her on the couch with him when I go to bed. In the morning she is always happy to see him, but he does not really care and asks me to take her away... he is kind of annoyed. But he is with everybody until he has coffee in him.
It's funny, it seems like he is torned between I love her but yet she is just a dog....
So I guess time will tell. She is only 6 months. He sure thinks she's pretty, especially after a bath and when I put a nice bow. He is proud of her. She stays alone in the house when we are gone. (My house is child and dog proof) and she has a great temper...
But they're is still that it's just a dog attitude... it bugs me! He doesn't understand the time I can put into her.... but it's a guy I guess

I'm sure with time she will conquer him. I told my husband that if he doesn't say hello in the morning, she will continue bugging him until he do so. So the last 2 mornings he said hello... it helped

but he sure thinks its a woman magnet and likes this aspects. Of all the dog breed in the world, my boyfriend prefer toy dogs to anyother breed....

My BF is the same way. He was funny around Mr. Biggs at first, because he was just a tiny little thing. He was always afraid he's sit on him. lol. But after just a few weeks, he fell in love with him. He acts like it's his kid. At night he'll tell me to cover Mr. Biggs if he's uncovered on his bed. He'll even kiss him goodnight and put him in bed with us just to snuggle. It's so funny what these little dogs can do to grown manly men. You guys should see him when he comes with us to dog events and dog stores! He's always picking things out for Mr. Biggs and wanting to buy him more treats. lol.

I know my hubby is like that!! Like yesturday we were all watchung TV and I told hubby scoot over so we can cuddle......... he looks over at me Annette I can't move Toby is sleeping I can't just wake him up!!!! ????

and when we go to bed too..... If im so dead tired and forget to lift Toby on the bed he'll actually make me get up and pick Toby off the floor.... even though he can get on himself!!!!!! ?????

I swear sometimes I think it's Toby then me !!!! ahahhahahahaha

Totally true! When I got Tucker, my husband said I couldn't dress him up and he was going to be just my dog... now, he gives him tons of kisses, snuggles him any chance he can get, talks to him in baby talk and takes care to put Tucker's snowsuit on before he goes outside (it's getting cold here). Just now, as I was reading this thread unbeknownst to him, hubby declared out of the blue as Tucker is conked out on his lap, "I wish I could bring the wee one to drill with me this weekend." (DH is in the Army) How freaking adorable is that?

my hubby is a mush with the girls..he gives them baths, blow dries them, brush them every week. he takes them out for daily walks and he's the one to remember to put little jackets on the girls since it's cold here now. it's sooo cute to see him with his girls. Yes, he does carry them around in their cute little girly outfits and pink leashes. i guess that is why i love him!!!
