Whew! I am so glad Ollie is OK and this story had a happy ending! I don't blame you for not letting your DH take him!

I find that if I run AWAY from Bitsy, she'll chase me instead of me chasing her.
She found a bone in my parents yard today and every time I went towards her, she ran away. Finally, I ran away from her and pretended to play with a leaf I found. She dropped her bone and came to investigate what I was playing with, so I was able to grab her.

That has saved us on two ocassions. They don't want to miss anything that you might have discovered!

Thanks for the good title of your story. I could read it with a lighter heart that way. I was really laughing at your omission of the simple instructions of how to get "to the car" before even leaving for the gas station!!

We're working on "come" now. Coby doesn't do too badly inside. But I'm thinking if his best friend Shadow lived across the street, he wouldn't come for me either!!
