| Petsmart shaved my yorkie I took Camo to Petsmart for his first grooming appointment yesterday and they completely shaved him. I am so upset! Does anyone know how long it will take for his hair to grow back? He's 3 months old. Thanks! |

| Oooh...I would have been so pissed! IF Lacy ever goes to a new groomer, I'm going to tell the groomer that I will kill her if Lacy comes out shaved. Maybe if we all start saying things like that, groomers won't shave our dogs! I'm sorry Since he was only three months, the hair he had ought to be grown back out in 2-3months

| Martini had to be shaved when she was just a few months old - due to baby hair falling out and adult hair coming in. She was a rats nest! It took a few months to grow back, but after we got used to the initial shock of our baby looking like a rat, she did look rather cute I thought Petsmart couldn't shave without permission? At least that's how mine is. |

| Im sorry this happened to you. I found you need to be very specific on what you want when you take your dog into a groomer.

| Oh, I hate to hear this. Like everyone said three to four months to grow back out. Bet your baby is still really cute! I don't really think anything can make a yorkie look bad. Sorry this happened too your baby.

| Me too...very very specific. I suggest pictures of what you would like and explain in detail how you want the body, feet, tail, ears, and face. And make sure they write it all down or you give them written instructions. Of course even then some groomers screw it up with I don't understand

| Welcome to YT!!!! I have learned from everyone else on YT to be VERY clear when we take our furbabies in to be groomed. I hear of this happening all the time!!! I am sure your furbaby is adorable even if he is shaved!!!!!!

Now i groom both of them. So if I make a mistake, i dont get mad, because its my own fault. Plus I save a ton of money, and they look pretty good!
