| What is the significance to having your dog micro chipped I was wondering why? I hear so many people say you need to have your dog microchipped.....Our Mya is not... what do you guys think??? |

| Hello, In my opinion, I think microchipping is good because it can help you ID your dog.For example if your dog is stolen, or gets lost and their collar falls off, when they go to the vet or to a shelter, they are scanned and the company is contacted, they then contact you. I guess it is just a safe guard to getting your pet home safely if anything does happen.

| Until they can put a GPS system in it, and all doctors are mandated to scan for them I don't see a real value.

| For the price I thought it was worth it...even if there is the smallest bit of hope I think its worth it..I dont keep tags on my dogs so if they were to get away and turned in at our local shelter or someone took them to the vet I would hope they would be checked..its definetly no guarentee..but worth it to me for $20..
