Ah! so true. We have three and they make my world go around. Wouldn't know what to do if I didn't have them in my life. Our daughter teases me and says the dogs have more toys than she did. We take them everywhere with us. Such a joy in ones life.

I am in love with Gismo and his mighty tongue( in your avatar). You are blessed to have a loving family and your precious little Gismo. I wear a shirt that says, We had to get rid of the kids, the dog was allergic. My kids are all grown, and all know Sawyer runs the roost around here. My daughter says they all want Sawyer to love them best just in case something happens to me because they know he would inherit everything.

What a great post, Judy! I'm crazy about my guy, too.

He's 10 now and I shudder to think of the world without him someday. In many ways, he's the baby I was denied.

Words can't describe how precious it is to me to have that chunky little body smash up against mine, or to watch it slowly tremble then begin to jump wildly up and down when I arrive home at night, or to hear that playful little growl as a squeaky toy is bashed against my shin.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your as well! Sounds like we've all got a lot to be thankful for.

Know exactly what you mean. When mom was alive she was always teasing me, saying 'Maybe if you son was to get married and give you some grandkids you wouldn't be so gaga over them dogs!'
She's probably laughing her head off right now - because since she's been gone I've added 2 yorkie pups to my household.

I am still waiting for my family to realize the full extent of the joy that Bella brings me. My husband gets it I think!
He will hang with me on YT for a few min... then walks away shaking his head and tells Bella...Your mom is crazy..lol
