Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Who is looking for a female Biewer puppy? I'm a little curious as I read through YT, why does it feel that those who are interested in getting a biewer only want girl puppies. I know about the male lifting scenarios, but males are usually gentler and more willing to be lap dogs. Seems unless they are 4# or less as adults no one is interested. Is it the dressing them up? or breeding? Would a young spayed Adult be interesting to purchase? What if I have 5 girls to place (I wish), what factors would you want me as the breeder to consider? I know the standard size is 4-7#. But pups/dogs are like people, not everyone fits the standard. My 12# teapot Yorkie is the funnest dog I own...she is a Yorkie but she is a DOG. Not a toy. No flaming, I am asking because what if I do have 5 females looking for homes someday. |

| It seems I always look for females too. It isn't the dressing up issue, I guess it's the leg lifting thing. If I would go to a breeder and I fell for a male I would def. buy him.

| I'm not looking to add anymore dogs to my family, but I'll answer your question. I have one male neutered yorkie and one spayed female maltese. Honestly, I absolutely love male dogs!! When looking for a pet, I always look at the males first because I think they are so incredibly sweet and loving, but I'll pick the one that wins my heart regardless of the sex of dog.

| We had a male dog when I was growing up and I had one an adult. I just don't like having males cause of their "maleness" if you know what I mean. I love the big male German Shepherds and Labs, but I wouldn't have a male again. I'm just a girls girl, I guess. |

| I know that when I was looking for a yorkie I always wanted a female from the start when I found Emma she had the cutest brother he looked exactly like what I wanted in a yorkie he was sooo cute not that Emma wasn't but just something about his face but then I picked him up and his penis touched my arm and it totally grossed me out I put him back and decided on Emma I have to nephews one is a mini. schnazer and the other is a mini pin and I pet them but never hold them it just grosses me out

| I was open to females or males when I got either of my girls. I think as long as males are neutered they're fine. I don't remember having any issues with our male dogs growing up (We had a Doberman and a German Shepard). My husband wanted females. He says male dogs are dumb I don't think that but he's the male right? On a separate note, I would love a Biewer. I think they're absolutely beautiful but I won't be actively looking for at least another year. We need a bigger house and a fenced in yard first.

| The only reason I like the females, is because of hubby..I do have one boy and I love him to death, he's my buddy, he's 6 lbs. not big but not small..and he doesn't lift his leg, I had him neutered as soon as I got him at 5 1/2 mos. If hubby loved the boys as much as me, we would probably have all boys... |

| I can surely say my boy yorkie is the funnest most lovable pet I have. he was my first and I wanted a boy(I had a pretty dominant female). He is the cutest thing, even at 16 lbs... My second, little Hopey came along cuz he needed a baby sister. She is very sweet, shy, and I wouldnt change her for the world! I love them both just the same, but yet different...

| I have a male and a female and when I get my next one it will be a female. I think males are just as sweet but I dont like dealing with humping and marking

| I dont have Briwers, But I do have 2 Yorkies a boy and a Girl and I do want another Female, my reason is that My female was so much easyer to potty train plus I dont think my little male would be very happy with another male in the house. But he is a loving Mommy's baby they both are. those are the only to reason for me wanting another female. |

| My male has never marked(getting them neutered before maturity is the way to stop that), and my female humped more than my male ever has..?? infact, she's the one that goes in my back yard and marks the whole back yard, lifting her leg and then shuffling her feet when she's done, while the little boy is out there running all over the yard |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | I'd LOVE to have a female Biewer...even if she was spayed. I don't care for males because even if neutered, they can still lift legs and then the pee gets all over their hair. I'm still waiting, however, for Biewers silk coated than cotton coated. Seems as though most of the Biewers that I've seen have been cotton coated and that, too me, is too much to take on.
