I was open to females or males when I got either of my girls. I think as long as males are neutered they're fine. I don't remember having any issues with our male dogs growing up (We had a Doberman and a German Shepard). My husband wanted females. He says male dogs are dumb I don't think that but he's the male right?

On a separate note, I would love a Biewer. I think they're absolutely beautiful but I won't be actively looking for at least another year. We need a bigger house and a fenced in yard first.
