| Need Dog Whisperer!! Last night I wrote in about my Babies, Maggie (5) Bailey (3) Received several great responses, Thanks But now the situation has gotten worse. Today, Maggie is obsessed with attacking Bailey!! It's as though she thinks Bailey is a squirrel. I now have to keep them in separate rooms, or put Bailey in her Sherpa traveling bag, for her own protection. What is going on HELP my P.S. I'm new to Yorkie Talk so bare with me |

| OMGoodness, I went thru this but Kodak who is 3 1/2 would be so mean to Mari. Members told me it would pass and that he was being territorial and had to get use to her. Well, she's almost one this month and he is still mean to her. Even though they play together, Kodak growls and snaps and sometimes gets a good one in and she yelps and runs and hides. I have had to keep them seperated to. Now I get a fly swatter and hit the ground when he growls and is mean to her. I lightly tap his butt or I hit the floor really hard with the swatter and he cools out. It just makes me wonder what he does to here when I'm not here. He's so much bigger than her and she taunts him sometimes but she can't really protect herself.

| Thanks for your quick reply, it took me this long to figure out how to get it. They've always played and slept together so well. We've only been in this house 2 mos. You may be right, Maggie could be claiming it as her territory. Kodak sounds like my Maggie, and Kamari sounds like my Bailey Bean! Thanks, I'll try the fly swatter on the ground! |

| Hi! This definetly sounds like she is claiming the new house as her own. I think the flyswatter sounds like a good option; but in the words of the dog whisperer" Walk them together, a tired dog is a good dog" lol l Putting her on her back and saying No firmly would help too. I'm sure it is just an adjustment, and when she learns it won't be tolorated she will cool out. If she wanted to hurt him, he would be bleeding, she is just setting her boundaries. Good luck.

| Today was the first time that Maggie drew blood from her little sister, that's why I'm so rattled! For 3 yrs they've been the best of buddies, now it's the Fight Club in my house. The little one is not spayed, is that a problem? |
