| Ear hair Ollie ears may be floopy but i have noticed a lot of hair growing out of them and have read here about vets plucking and etc... Why? I am getting ready to bath him and trim up his face a little around his eyes should i trim the hairs growing out of his ears or shave them? |

| You want to pull the hair. Tweezers or hemostats work great. The top of the ear should be shaved (if you prefere it that way) in a "V" shape, front and back. But the stuff in the ear and the canal should be pulled.

| Gosh i dont think i can do it. I will see if my groomer knows to do this. Why do they need them plucked? |

| Groomers pull the ear hairs out, and it's really not hard..I use my fingers and pull it out..doesn't hurt them, and that's the only thing I can do to mine, that they will sit still for and let me do |

| It helps keep their ears healthy. I guess, if they aren't having any problems (yeast infections/smell) then it would be fine to leave it. But, mine seem to love it! They actually lean into my hand supporting and totally relax. It is kinda like cleaning your ears and it feels sooo good.
