Ear hair Ollie ears may be floopy but i have noticed a lot of hair growing out of them and have read here about vets plucking and etc... Why? I am getting ready to bath him and trim up his face a little around his eyes should i trim the hairs growing out of his ears or shave them? |
You want to pull the hair. Tweezers or hemostats work great. The top of the ear should be shaved (if you prefere it that way) in a "V" shape, front and back. But the stuff in the ear and the canal should be pulled. |
Gosh i dont think i can do it. I will see if my groomer knows to do this. Why do they need them plucked? |
Groomers pull the ear hairs out, and it's really not hard..I use my fingers and pull it out..doesn't hurt them, and that's the only thing I can do to mine, that they will sit still for and let me do |
