| Unfortunately, Myles has not been microchipped. Just got back from the my vet's office. I did leave info with them. More flyers and posters go out today. He likes the car a lot. Never knew a dog who didn't like a nice ride on a sunny day. On the way back, we got near the spot on the road near where I found him, and he began to shake, and then cried out just like a human baby does! Very startling. For those of you in the know, what does this "human baby cry" mean? Scared? Upset? Remembering where he was "dumped off" (if in fact this is the case). I am clueless.Matthew |

| Donating YT 3000 Club Member | wow you found a yorkie puppy in the street!!!! I'm glad you're doing all this to help him, poor thing. I really doubt it would have been dumped (I can't imagine somebody doing that!) but you know, things like that can happen believe it or not. Still, it's good that you posted flyers and all that. But I don't know if I want him to go back the his "owner" if that person was careless enough to loose him. Well, you know we're here to help, so, just ask! Oh, please post some pics |

| Thanks for the update. Your story is such a warm one no matter how it turns out. I love watching you fall in love with a Yorkie. I laughed out loud at the "danger" line.

| Did the vet say how old he thinks Miles might be? They can usually tell by checking the teeth. From the pix you posted, I can't imagine he's a young pup - also since he seems so well housebroken. Sounds like he is very at home with you. I know you are probably getting attached to this sweet well-behaved boy - but I pray if someone is crying over their lost baby, that they will be reunited. Thank you for taking such good care of him

| I'm so glad you came to the rescue of this little yorkie! It seems so many people here are making remarks about the owners to the yorkie being irresponsible. I just wanted to say that many times, something happens in the blink of an eye that a dog gets loose and runs. There are times when they slip out the door without the owners knowledge, or times when the owner looks away for a second and their dog disappears. Maybe they are bad yorkie parents, but there could be a good exclamation for why he was running loose. If the owners are never found, you will have yourself a darling little bundle of fur to love...and he'll make you smile and laugh every day! Best wishes!

| Yes, I think I was a bit too harsh in condemning his owners, who might be frantic right now. He could have slipped out, or gone off on an adventure and gotten lost. Hope that his rightful owners see the many things I have done and give me a call. Who knows how he ended up in my yard? We all have a story. My (inaccurate) bathroom scale tells me he weighs about 4 lbs. He is so good about potty time. Goes to the door to let me know. However, if I don't get him out within 10-15 seconds (literally), he goes to the rug in front of the washing machine and begins. One gentle tap on his behind and a stern "cut it out" gets him redirected to the door. Anyone have any insight into the "crying baby" noise he made earlier today? He also feels like he has a lump or bump on one of his ribs. He will get checked out soon by my vet, more throughly. The kitten is trying to check him out when he is sleeping, but Myles always gets one eye open, and gives the death look. Kenneth just hisses, and backs off. Then he hisses at everyone and everything. I rescued him from the woods near my house last winter, as a tiny (hold in the palm of your hand) kitten. He is a character. Thanks for all the help so far. I and Myles appreciate it. Matthew |

| Matthew - Both of mine do the crying thing occasionally. Generally if they are scared, like when we go into the vet's office and the last time they were there they got shots. Mine also enjoy the car and definitely do recognize places we go (my mom's house, the park, the groomer) and they perk up and get excited even if we went a different way to get there. It's VERY possible he recognized something in that area and got scared, especially if he was otherwise riding fine in the car. We got our 2nd Yorkie, Sammy, when she was about a year old and she was a re-home. It took her a week or two before her personality came out as well. Just give lots of tiny treats and he will come around. You are doing a very good thing!! He looks to be the same size as Sammy (6 pounds) and she eats 1/4 cup of dry food 2 times a day. The tummy issues were very likely a combination of new food plus stress. Yorkies have sensitive stomachs. You might try an inexpensive premium dry food like Canidae if you find he has loose stools. As much as mine LOVE canned food, they have to eat kibble for one of their meals or they have bad gas! Stick around on Yorkietalk and you will learn more about Yorkies than you ever wanted to know!

| Wow! Your name wouldn't be Clark Kent or something like that, would it? Cause you are definitely a Yorkie Hero! Please keep us posted! Also, if someone does try to claim him, let them talk over the phone to him and see how he reacts. He's either going to get really excited or scared which will give you a clue as to what to do. Good luck, Clark!
