| Do you think he needs meds? two things My pup is 11 months old.. He has so much energy all the time! All he wants to do is play, play, and play. However, he doesn't like to eat much therefore he is underweight. I've tried different types of food..wet and dry, different brand, etc. and nothing seems to please him. My concern is; is it normal for him to want to play so much all the time or did I buy a crazy yorkie ? ps. He spends a long time home alone while I am at work. Could it be b/c of that? |

| He probably just wants to get rid of his "ya yas" when you get home. He should be fine, but if you are worried about his weight I suggest talk to your vet and go from there. As for medicating him, Bruiser was once diagnosed with doggy ADD at the emergency vets and they suggested that I medicate him. I was like "are you serious"? Just my opinion, but I would never ever medicate him just to calm him down. I love him just the way he is and would never risk changing his personality to make him not so hyper. Being excited and so full of life is why I got a yorkie to being with!
