| on Rachel Ray a vet inserts a Microchip to dog She has a vet on there today showing how easy it is to get a microchip for your furbaby. When the vet did it....the dog never even noticed.

| That's how my Max was too. I think every dog is different and maybe it depends on what's going on around it to distract it. Max had his done at a big fundraising event and there was a lot going on, so he never even noticed. There were other dogs there though that were kind of whining, so I guess it's all individual. It only takes a split second though.

| My sister has her english bulldog chipped and she told me the same it really will not help if someone were to steal your dog or find it. I they really want to keep him/ her as a pet. I hope they bring a GPS one also soon. I know Ellen was giving away so many free chips from home again. If they made it mandatory for all vets to scan then it might be a possibility for me to get her chipped but then I think about living in the city and everyone has a scam going on. They might pay the vet off just so their lil kid can have the yorkie it always wanted. We have doctors that are unethical so why not vets.
