Im sorry you're going through this with Natalie. I am also sorry that your purchase of Gracie is putting a financial strain on your family and leaving you without enough to properly care for Natalie. I understand that you didn't know about her condition when you bought her, but you know now.

As for myself..I will save my donations for my own baby. There are many different organizations that specialize in helping with unexpected pet medical bills. I would advise you to look into some of them..for Natalie.

This whole thing makes me so sad. First and foremost, I feel heartsick for sweet Natalie. Second, if all is on the up and up with the original poster, I can't help but feel bad for her for what she is going through. Perhaps she made some imperfect decisions, but who hasn't? Lastly, if she is 'scamming', as some people may believe, I feel bad for all of us who fell for it...but we'll get over it. BUT, in ANY case, Natalie is the main concern. I think the OP has definitely 'gotten the message' about members concerns. I hope we can now focus on the sick puppy. If anyone wants to help, they can. If not, that's fine too. Get well baby girl.

NO I would sell a dog I just got days ago to pay for furbaby or skinbaby medical expenses before I would go to a forum for money

What exactly is Natalie's diagnosis? Did I miss that in all this??? I would not even know how to go about donating to your cause.

Why do some members think you were "kinda" asking for donations? Perhaps when you posted the PM you sent to admin put the idea in their heads? If I were you, i would not even consider taking any contributions, just for the principle of it all. How would people know your address to mail you a check or send a donation? You would have had to make that information available, yes???

And selling items for inflated prices may not be a good idea either?

There might be good reasons for others to think your motives are more than honest.

I truly hope there is nothing seriously wrong with Natalie, she is so cute. Also, it may not have been a good idea to add another pup to your house when you knew your funds were limited to disability and child support.

If Natalie is ill, I wish her the best. And I hope you find the proper places to borrow money and not have to go on a soap box as you have stated you would ...

Y'know...I think everyone is aware that there are two very different opinions running here. To me, it's getting stressful to read trying to find updates on Natalie.
Nat's Mom answered my questions in my posts. I am satisfied. Could we please start a new thread with just "Natalie's Updates?"..I really, really want to know how she's doing.

Did YOU write that??? "She is YOUR responsibility, not YT's"???? Or is that something I missed that you quoted....

We don't know what her final diagnosis will be.... at this point, she has an enlarged heart - fluid in and around her heart and lungs... fluid in the abdomen. The cause, is unknown at this point as to whether it was brought on by improperly treated infection or if it is a congenital problem that went without being noticed until now.

She never had a heart murmur or anything like that at prior check-ups.... so it's just very unclear... which is why we want her to see a specialist who can better provide the answers and treatment plan.

Maybe this will help you understand how some are feeling. You keep saying you never asked for money which isn't really true. You PMed admin and then you posted it here. 99% of the people who have come on here to scam money have not outright asked for it. They know how to con people into offering. We have seen it a ridiculous amount of times here and I just wish you could understand that we have every right to feel leary. This is not personal- these thread crop up fairly regularly. Again, I'm not saying you are scamming but most who have been here a while go on alert when one of these threads crop up and, surprise! Money gets offered. I hope nothing but the best for Natalie and sincerely hope you get the finances worked out.

We all fell in love with Gracie when we saw her pictures, but we choose to live within our means. And that choice is for the well being of our immediate family and also Gracie. Please don't use the word love in vain. Love is unselfish. If you had to "scram" for money to adopt Gracie, maybe you had no business adopting her in the first place. I have no doubt you love all your furbabies and skin babies, but caring for them is more than putting them in cute clothes and taking pictures.

I regret my first post came across harshly, but you have to understand I genuninely care for all furbabies even the ones that aren't mines. They shouldn't have to suffer cause we made poor decisions.
