What you use is a matter of personal preferance.....and what works best for your dog. I try not to use any chemicals unless necessary. But, when I do....I put it on 24 hours prior to bathing...so, I don't leave it on more than that.

| ![]() oh, so i can use capstar just when i take him to the park and thats it. i dont have to use it everyday. i tried to see what chemicals are in capstar and i cant find anything on it. do you think it is bad for them? i always give sammy a bath when we get back from the park anyways. i guess i could give him a cap star before we leave and then bath him in dawn when we get back. is this the best way to go? |

| ![]() cap star is fine, that's what they give the dogs before doing surgery to make sure there are no fleas, and if there is, it kills them. I use revolution on the one big dog, and sentinel on the other..I prefer the sentinel as it's a chewable tablet and my shepherd loves it.. I also use revolution on the other little ones in the house, even though they're pee pad trained, I still take them out and let them run for about 10 minutes every night.. |
